Halfsuits are used in large isolators to interface with process equipments such as autoclave, lyophilizer and dry heat ovens and to facilitate the ergonomic transfer of materials from one unit system. Inclined for easy access. Allow for 180° mobility. It is equipped with bungee cords to adjust heights. Must be checked regularly, replacement recommended every 3 years.
Yellow / orange cloth that turns to green / blue in the presence of ammonia. These cloths are indispensable when performing an ammonia leak test within isolator.
Electrical and air-tight aseptic connections are used, in all isolators. It allows aseptic connections within the isolator or the RABS units, without breaching the integrity of the classified environment. Such connections include, but are not limited to hydrogen peroxide generators, valves, compressing fittings and pass-through connections.
A PVC bellow is an important part in making an air tight connection between two classified environments. This connection can be done directly between 2 process equipments through an Alpha / Beta door. This connection can be used for, but is not limited to, the transfer of products between two units, without breaching the environments.
Gaskets of different specifications are present throughout every unit. They can be found around gloves ports, doors, connections and filters. Due to their extensive exposure to air, as well as to cleaning solutions, these gaskets will have to be replaced regularly to ensure the integrity of the unit depending on the gasket type and location. Check regularly accordingly to S.O.P.
Recirculation fans allow for proper distribution of air and / or gas within a unit. They are equipped with stainless steel finger guards which provide safety for operators and prevent items from getting caught in the fan. Due to the cleaning solutions and gases that the recirculation fans are exposed to, regular check up and replacement are required in accordance with S.O.P. for ease cleanability and for durability.
Air-tight door are offered in order to ensure an aseptic transfer of product from one environment to the next. Swing doors are offered for a fixed setup while Alpha / Beta doors are provided for a mobile one. Alpha / Beta containers (stainless steel or PVC) are also available, for sterile transfer of products or disposal of waste. In accordance to client specifications; these containers can be autoclaved or sterilized with VHP for a greater efficiency and to ensure a high SAL.
For proper functionality and to ensure the air-tightness of the isolator, it is extremely important that the sleeves-glove assemblies are inspected regularly for leak-tightness, prior to use. The Glove Integrity Tester is a custom equipment, designed to facilitate these integrity tests. Sleeve-glove assemblies can be tested one by one or simultaneously in sets of four, depending on the chosen model. The manual is for simple glove testing and the automatic is for multiple glove testing.
Ergonomic stainless steel loading systems to ensure transfer of materials from outside of the clean air environments and isolators in an efficient manner.
The Dräger smoke tubes are used to detect slight air currents and their direction (unidirectional vs. turbulent flow) within a isolator / RABS. They are also exceptionally useful in determining air leaks in ducting, pipelines and many other applications where an air-tight seal is required. These Dräger smoke tubes are specifically designed for use with a gas detector hand pump.
